Dan has been developing user-centric tools around databases for the last seven years. He specializes in web content management systems and has developed many sites with WebGUI. He possesses substantial skills working with Perl, mod_perl, Ruby, Apache, XML/RSS, MySQL, MTAs (Mail Transfer Agents), Linux (especially Debian and Red Hat), PostgreSQL, and OOP (object oriented programming). He has also worked on several projects involving spam filtering, web automation, and network security.

Personal

Dan lives in Lynn, Massachusetts with his wife and five-year-old daughter. He's not ashamed to say he's obsessed with everything related to food: eating it, preparing it, cooking it, and learning about it. His mind is full of oodles of useless trivia, too. Prior to working as a developer, Dan held positions delivering potato chips, working in a scrap yard, and as a grassroots organizer for environmental concerns.
