James has over ten years of experience working as a programmer and system administrator. In 1999 he co-founded PowWeb, a major shared web hosting company, and helped run the company until selling its assets in 2006. As a programmer he has experience with Perl, PHP, C, C++, C#, and Visual Basic. His system administration experience encompasses a variety of operating systems, including FreeBSD, Linux, Solaris, Mac OS X, and Windows servers.

IT Consultant for Metropolitan Family Medicine and Chiropractic, 2007-2008. Provided system administration services (VPN setup, Windows Server 2003 setup, ActiveDirectory configuration, etc.) and created/maintained the practice's website.
