Max is primarily focused on software design and development, but has also worked at everything from designing network topologies for multi-story buildings to daily system administration and tech support for large internet service providers. Starting off as a computer hobbyist, he received early formal training at the University of California at San Diego that exposed him to Internet technologies prior to the inception of the world wide web. Some of his career highlights include: Implementing one of the first automotive loan processing centers on the Internet; single-handled implementation of a commission system that handled $6 billion per month; and leading the effort to adapt the Visa fraud detection system (Falcon) to do front-loaded (seller side) fraud detection across the Internet.

Previous Experience

Consultant from 1994 to 2005. Software and database engineer and project team lead for diverse clients, including Eli Lilly, Scripps Research Center, San Diego City College, Aerotech/Maxim, SAIC, Stratagene, and PeopleFirst Finance, LLC (Now Citigroup Auto.).

Personal

Max was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina (and still speaks and writes Spanish fluently) and grew up near Miami. Max now resides in Indianapolis, Indiana with his wife Mary. Since arriving in Indianapolis from San Diego, he's found that both the midwest people and (surprisingly) the weather are to his liking. Max enjoys good wine, good beer, good food, and is trying to learn to enjoy good exercise as well.
