The Tiger District e-commerce site was built on the Interchange platform, using custom Perl libraries and a PostgreSQL database. One of the main requirements of the project was a clean, professional and simple design. Jared was adamant that the look and feel of the site be straight forward and easy to use. We agreed wholeheartedly and believe the design of the site reflects on the designs of Tiger District's products, fun, clean and straight forward. The URLs for the site have been optimized for search engine results, custom image manipulation scripts have been tied into the administration application to generate all of the product pictures on the site and the ordering process has been simplified for a quick checkout.

Another interesting point of this project was the use of End Point's camp system which allows multiple engineers to generate unique working environments on the fly. With this system 4 engineers were able to work on the project at once while avoiding stepping on each other's toes. This allowed the project to meet the deadline without having to manage code changes between the engineers involved. The system also allows Jared to view changes on a private staging site before approving them for the production site.
