Gerard’s career spans over 20 years of professional experience in theatre, television production, telecommunications, education administration, insurance, and financial services. His skills include budgeting, financial administration and analysis, business processes, logistics, and project management. He is driven by the details as they relate to the big picture and enterprise goals.

User Systems Analyst progressing to Business Analyst at AAA Michigan for the Life Sales Agency and Auto Club Funds, Inc. Gerard developed desktop applications into business process solutions.

Project Manager at Clover Technologies for clients including the State of California, SBC, and Saginaw Valley State University. Projects included custom teleconference and video presentation rooms, voice & data networks, PA and clock systems in retrofit projects and new construction.

Sr. Project Manager progressing to Assistant Director of Operations with the NYC Board of Education Office of Telecommunications. Co-leader of program to retrofit 250 NYC schools with PBX installations and structured cable plants.

Sr. Finance Administrator progressing to Unit Manager-Sports for NBC TV. Finance administration of budgets and cost control for the NY technical plant. Later with NBC Sports, home base logistical management (“the war room”) for NBA playoffs and finals. Live remote broadcast events included AFC football, NBA basketball, college basketball, NBC baseball game of the week. Studio shows included NBA Showtime, Prudential Update, and Sportsworld.

All of this began when Gerard moved to New York City to be in the theatre. He has been an actor, singer, and he thinks he can dance (not so much). Gerard also has experience as a sound designer, lighting designer, and stage manager.

Gerard enjoys theatre and music projects on the local level, serving one term as President of the City of Taylor Cultural Arts Foundation and an appointment to the mayor’s Cultural Arts Commission. His other activities include golf, camping, target shooting, and spending time with his nieces and nephew. Gerard is single and dating his childhood sweetheart. They met in the 1st grade.
