Marina is an IT generalist, developing both back-end and front-end in Ruby on Rails, Java, and PHP.

She stays up to date with the latest technologies and frameworks to be able to leverage their power to simplify development.

She is a big supporter of Agile and TDD (test-driven development) methodologies.

Marina’s projects include:

  • Commission Junction ad-serving platform, one of the biggest online advertising networks in North America;
  • Sears’ Manage My Home portal, Ruby on Rails;
  • Casino.com and Mansion.com, online casino portal based on OpenCMS Java platform;
  • TOCIS2, Java CRM for one of the largest Toyota/Lexus dealers in Russia;
  • Xerox DMS, integration of Websphere Portal, Filenet and Tivoli Access Manager to automate the Siberian University public library.

Commission Junction, Los Angeles, California, 2010–2012. Worked on CJ custom ad-serving platform and website.

Exadel, Minsk, Belarus, 2009–2010. Developed web application for customers in United States.

Itransition, Minsk, Belarus, 2006–2009. Responsible for design web and desktop applications for customers in United States, Russia and Europe.

Marina moved to Los Angeles from Minsk, Belarus in 2010. Her hobbies include but are not limited to web and graphic design, and photography. She enjoys playing tennis and hiking, and she plans on adding surfing to her activities.
