Mike has been playing on a computer most of his life administering systems and developing interesting software. He spent his early years in Turbo Pascal which later evolved into Delphi development. Mike has focused much of his professional life developing database solutions and Business Intelligence systems in MySQL and Oracle.

Recently, Mike has been involved in building web applications using Ruby on Rails and is a proud Ruby community member. He also a contributor to the Kynetx open source platform and has experience with Linux system administration.

Data Warehouse Architect / Senior Developer, Kynetx, 2009–2011. Developed web applications with Ruby on Rails.

Application Analyst, BYU—Idaho, 2008–2009. Administered Blackboard LMS.

Oracle DBA / Data Warehouse Developer and Architect, Sento, 2000–2008. Used Star Schema data modeling, customized ETL with PL/SQL and Ruby, and created Business Intelligence tools using SAP Business Objects.
