Charles Chang

Charles chang

Charles is a systems engineer/​integrator with experience in managing data center initiatives and overall technology infrastructure. His love of the industry enables him to keep moving forward, learning and adjusting to new technologies as needed.

Some of Charles’ career highlights include consolidating data center hardware to reduce its overall footprint and power consumption with a data center relocation, and completing a hardware refresh of the virtualization and storage technology.

He has worked extensively with Cisco UCS, EMC, IBM, and Dell equipment.


Charles has over 21 years of experience in IT. In his initial years, he worked as a web developer on websites such as Volvocars.com, CBRE, and General Mills, and in digital media for Intel and Oppenheimer Funds.

Next Charles took on a role for a global freight forwarding company and transitioned his career to IT infrastructure management with Windows OS, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, etc.

Later he moved on to data center operation management of SAN, virtualization, backup, hardware refresh, and office/​data center relocation/​consolidation initiatives involving circuit deliverables, scheduling wiring, coordination with key stakeholders, and the final execution. He also managed annual disaster recovery rehearsals to meet compliance and business continuity strategy.

Charles enjoys all types of food, sports, video games, fishing, and traveling during his leisure time.
