Joe first experimented with software on an IBM PS/2 with an Intel 286 CPU, then began to write software using QBasic and Visual Basic. He discovered his passion for learning, solving problems, and creating novel computer programs. Today, he continues to follow his passion and strives to deliver absolute excellence in software engineering to End Point customers.
Joe has a strong background in mathematics and computer science. His professional experience includes work on massive cloud web applications built on Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services, corporate mobile applications, computer graphics software, and AAA titles in the game industry.
Senior Software Engineer, Citrix, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 2015–2017. Joe worked on the XenMobile for Android team. XenMobile is a MAM/MDM technology that allows Android applications to be injected with additional security and policy enforcement features. He brought this technology to the cloud and was 100% responsible for the UI development for the XenMobile Wrapping Service. This eventually evolved into Citrix’s EMS Connector product.
Consultant, ADEX Technologies, Cypress Creek, Florida, 2015. At ADEX Technologies, Joe worked on vision and IMU tracking algoritms for the highly secretive South Florida startup, Magic Leap. Later, he worked on a software library for communicating with Bluetooth LE medical devices.
Software Engineer Contractor, Hilton Software LLC, Coral Springs, Florida, 2014–2015. Joe worked on the early stages of WingX Pro for Android and developed the core in-house geospatial software tool-chain that converted FAA sectionals and IFR paper charts into a file-format that allowed it to be easily consumed and rendered seamlessly in mobile applications.
Senior Software Engineer, tkLABS, Lauderhill, Florida, 2012–2014. Joe worked on various projects including Android applications and proprietary Android AOSP devices.
C++ Software Engineer, ScheduALL, Hollywood, Florida, 2011–2012. Joe fixed bugs and added features on ScheduALL’s flagship product.
Owner, Shrewd Creative, Hollywood, Florida, 2010–2012. Joe’s first entrepreneurial initiative to bring a revolutionary software stack that allowed the realization of extremely low latency web services.
Software Engineer, FAP Services LLC, Berlin, Germany. 2009–2010. Joe created a support system for a large German dating website called First Affair.
Game Programmer, Darkside Game Studios, Coral Springs, Florida, 2008–2009. Joe worked on animation code for All Star Cheer Squad 2 for the Nintedo Wii and the build system for Bioshock 2.
Software Engineer, Myxer, Deerfield Beach, Florida, 2007–2008. Joe worked on large production website that supported cellphone ringtone delivery for 9 million users.
