With experience in many complex and heterogeneous environments, Marco has learned how to effectively scale down complexity to create simpler and more efficient approaches to problems.

He has a broad knowledge of different Linux distributions such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu, and Gentoo; and many development languages, including C, Java, PHP, Python, and Perl. He loves to use these and new technologies to improve his knowledge and meet new challenges.

Senior DevOps for Buongiorno SpA / NTT DOCOMO, 2012–2014. While working on server administration and software coding, Marco helped redesign the backend API infrastructure and optimize and rebuild internal software components.

Senior Developer for Musixmatch SpA, 2011. Improved and maintained the backend lyrics database and internal API system.

Music Head Developer for DADA SpA, 2008–2011. Led music area development team, helping achieve a smooth transition of all web services to a new custom hardware/software infrastructure aimed at improving response time, scalability and maintainability.

Marco was born in Rome and now lives in Florence.

He loves to play all sort of games, from tabletop board games to paper-based role playing games, but especially enjoys video games.
